Christmas was kind enough to us! The Giants lost in heartbreaking fashion but successfully covered the 3.5 hook. The 49ers took care of business against Washington as well, covering -7 in a comfortable 17 point victory. Despite hanging on and keeping it close, the Eagles lost by 6 and were unsuccessful in their efforts to cover +4. The Chiefs managed to win without getting Kelce an endzone look and the Titans got Henry his looks but choked the game away, leaving our TD/ML parlays just short. Justin Jefferson converted his over total to keep us even on the week. If the right Packers TE had scored, it would have been a great week! But we always take an even slate. Onward we move!
Picks and Wagers
The slate looks really bleak this week. Several teams with not much to play for, some really weird lines, and a lot of unpredictability. We will keep it short and sharp this week.
Bears @ Lions (-6) o/u 52.5
The Lions have everything to play for, with their playoff hopes relying on winning out with a few other factors going their way. At home in the dome, the Lions offense has been electrifying, and the Bears porous defense should not stand in the way. At a sneaky 10-5 ATS, I like the Lions in this spot to take care of business against a tanking Chicago team.
Schiz’s Pick: Lions -6 (-110)
Colts @ Giants (-5.5) o/u 38.5
The Indianapolis Colts are a nightmare. They have a streaky defense, a pitiful offensive line and shotty quarterback play at best. The Giants have everything to play for, are getting healthy on defense, and after his best offensive performance of his career last week against Minnesota, Daniel Jones is ready to end the season on a high note. The 11-4 ATS New York Giants once again get my vote of confidence.
Schiz’s Pick: Giants -5.5 (-115)
Broncos @ Chiefs (-12.5) o/u 44.5
49ers @ Raiders (+9.5) o/u 42.5
Rams @ Chargers (-6.5) o/u 42.5
There are some uncomfortable spreads in these games but the outcomes that are favored should hold true. All 3 favorites are in a great spot to win their matchups comfortably, despite potentially not having as much to play for. I feel comfortable banking on these three teams to pull off the victory.
Schiz’s Pick: Parlay- Chiefs ML, 49ers ML, Chargers ML (-113)
Three plays, three units. Let’s keep it simple and come out on top this week. Happy New Year!

We have arrived. Only one victory stands between each team’s bid at eternal glory as NFL Champions.
Broto Bets went 5-0 and gained 3.62 units in the Divisional Round.
Surely if the Texans can destroy an elite Browns defense, they should have half a chance against an elite Ravens defense, right?
The 49ers make their 2023/2024 playoff debut at home after posting a 12-5 record as the number-one-seeded team in the NFC.
The Bills have allowed a QB to throw for at least 155 yards in nearly all of their games.
The NFL Playoffs are a hallowed ground where the final chapters of the season will be written.
Love is now eyeing down a Wild Card playoff berth in his first full season as a starter, leading the Packers to a 9-8 regular season record while posting 4,159 yards.
With a pitiful point spread, expect a close game in Foxborough. Breece Hall is hot and could be the difference maker for New York.
He has seven WR1 games and could contend for the greatest value in all of fantasy this season.
Are the Dolphins frauds or are the Ravens just really good? Maybe both are true to some degree.
The 2023 fantasy season is complete. The Dynasty market, however, is never ceasing.
Did you know that the Chiefs offense ranks 6th in DVOA, 10th in EPA/play, 9th in total yards, and 10th in total points?
The last QB1 outing for Goff yielded a 41.2-point performance as the top-scoring player that week.
I expect Walker to get loose for a long TD run this week and punish an exploitable Steelers front seven.
Nacua is currently averaging 17.7 PPR PPG as the WR7 on the season and draws a favorable matchup against a susceptible Giants secondary heading into the fantasy championships.
Amari Cooper went ballistic against the Texans secondary en route to a historic game.
Hall has supplemented any deficiencies as a runner with an incredible yet unexpected receiving profile.
Only two players in the history of the NFL have recorded 200(+) yard games with three different franchises: Hall Of Famer Terrell Owens and Amari Cooper.
For a second straight season, I am betting against Mahomes.
