Clay's Corner - DFS Plays for Week 11

Welcome to Clay’s DFS Plays for Week 11! Week 10 was riddled with injuries but here are how my healthy plays managed to perform last week:

  • Patrick Mahomes: 35.14

  • Justin Fields: 43.38

  • Saquon Barkley: 26

Time to avoid the injuries for Week 11! Let the #printfest begin!

Week 11 DraftKings

Implied totals: DAL 24.5; MIN 23

2. CHI @ ATL – 50.5 O/U

Implied totals: CHI 23.75; ATL 265

3. DET @ NYG – 45.5 O/U

Implied totals: DET 21.25; NYG 24.25

4. PHI @ IND – 44.5

Implied totals: PHI 25.5; IND 19

Top Cash Plays:

Quarterback

Jalen Hurts ($8,200)

Jalen Hurts’ fantasy MVP season continues. He has scored less than 20 fantasy points only twice this season. Hurts’ rushing productivity has cooled off as of late with 28 rushing yards or less in his past four games but a game in a dome against the 3rd best True Matchup for opposing quarterbacks in the Indianapolis Colts should be exactly what the doctor ordered. Let Hurts carry your cash lineup this week.

Dak Prescott ($6,600)

Dak is a nice way to save funds in cash this week. Prescott has put up 250+ passing yards in his last two games along with five total passing touchdowns. This game could provide fireworks in a dome. Dak has your back in cash games this week.

Justin Fields ($7,600)

Justin Fields has significantly run-up his price on DraftKings. He has gone from $5,300 in Week 9, to $6,500 in Week 10, to now $7,300 in Week 11. He has done the majority of his damage on the ground the past two weeks, rushing for 178 and 147 yards and tagging on four rushing touchdowns.

Running Back

Saquon Barkley ($8,900)

Saquon crushed the Houston Texans last week to the tune of 152 rushing yards and one rushing touchdown. He has regained his rookie form and maintains his status as the biggest threat on the New York Giants offense. Although the Detroit Lions rank as the 13th best matchup for running backs, the Lions just let Justin Fields torch them for 147 yards and two touchdowns. Saquon can carry the load for the New York Giants and your cash lineup.

Brian Robinson ($5,300)

We cannot have all expensive players in our cash lineups, so here is an awesome value play in Brian Robinson. Robinson has not looked great but he nearly doubled Antonio Gibson’s carry total last Monday night against the Philadelphia Eagles, 26 to 14. The Commanders get the Houston Texans this week who rank as the 2nd best matchup for opposing running backs. Pay down and enjoy the savings of Brian Robinson.

Wide Receiver

Justin Jefferson ($9,100)

Justin Jefferson is insanely good. Jefferson has a 28% target share on the season and is the only consistent weapon outside of Dalvin Cook on this Vikings offense. Jefferson is also 2nd in targets with 100 and is 4th in True Target Value. Jefferson is also 1st in red zone opportunities and 7th in Points per Opportunity excluding TDs. Get Jefferson in your cash lineups.

CeeDee Lamb ($7,500)

CeeDee Lamb finally had the huge breakout game we have all been impatiently waiting for. Lamb is churning out alpha numbers this season as he is 6th in total targets and 1st in target share at 31.1%. No one is stealing any work from Lamb and if Dallas’ defense continues to leak and allow opponents to put up points, Lamb will benefit. Grab some Lamb in cash this week.

Tight End

TJ Hockenson ($5,300)

The Vikings have been looking for an impact tight end for years and Hockenson is fitting like a glove. With back-to-back games of 90%+ snaps and 20%+ target shares, Hockenson makes for a strong cash play.

Foster Moreau ($3,700)

Foster Moreau has 23 targets over his past four games and finally find the end zone in Week 10. Moreau allows you to save some salary and pay up elsewhere this week.

Isaiah Likely ($3,600)

This play only works if Mark Andrews is ruled out for Sunday. Likely has 12 targets over his last two games and will be a cash game staple should Mark Andrews be ruled out.

D/ST

New York Jets ($2,800)

The New York Jets defense is legit. In their last meeting with New England, the Jets defense recorded six sacks and one interception. The Patriots offense is still middling at best with many inconsistencies including at quarterback. Feel free to use the Jets with confidence this week.

Favorite stacks:

1. Josh Allen + Stefon Diggs + Gabe Davis/Dawson Knox with Nick Chubb/Donovan Peoples-Jones bring back.

2. Dak Prescott + CeeDee Lamb and/or Dalton Schultz with TJ Hockenson or Justin Jefferson bring back.

3. Dameon Pearce with Houston D/ST

4. Josh Jacobs + Raiders D/ST

5. Joe Mixon + Bengals D/ST

GPP Plays:

QB Daniel Jones ($5,700)

New York Daily News

If you are looking to be contrarian at quarterback then Daniel Jones is a great option this week. Jones always has the ability to break the slate with his rushing ability and the Lions are a great matchup for opposing rushing QBs. You can also stack Jones with Darius Slayton or Saquon Barkley if you are feeling spicy.

RB Jonathan Taylor ($7,800)

Jonathan Taylor is finally back! Taylor absolutely smashed against the Raiders in Week 10, rushing for 147 yards and one touchdown. JT can certainly provide a strong run game for the Colts in Week 11 and they will need him to have a big day to have a shot.

RB Nick Chubb ($8,200)

The way to beat the Bills is through the ground game. Luckily, that is Nick Chubb’s specialty. Chubb has proven to have elite upside on a week to week basis and Cleveland will need him to rush all over the Bills to keep up with Josh Allen.

WR Terry McLaurin ($5,900)

Ron Rivera announcing Taylor Heinicke will start this week against the Texans allows us to utilize Terry McLaurin this week. McLaurin has increased his target share every week since Heinicke took over the Commanders starting job. McLaurin started with a 24.2 percent target share in Week 7, which got all the way up to 37.9% in Week 10. Make sure to use Scary Terry in GPPs this week.

WR Darius Slayton ($5,000)

Slayton is the only legitimate receiving threat outside of Saquon Barkley on the Giants roster. Slayton is sporting strong downfield numbers, averaging 17.2 yards per reception, which ranks 7th in the NFL, with a 13.36 aDOT that ranks 13th. With Wan’Dale Robinson likely out now too, expect Slayton to see as many targets as he can handle.

TE Dalton Schultz ($4,300)

Dalton Schultz is back to being Dak Prescott’s safety blanket. In his last 3 games played, Schultz has totaled 20 targets. He will not break off monster gains but Schultz is a cheaper option with a solid floor.

D/ST

New Orleans Saints ($3,000)

The Saints defense looks like a very strong option this week against the Los Angeles Rams. Cooper Kupp is out and the Rams have the worst rushing attack in the league. Do not overthink it.

New York Jets ($2,800)

See cash section.

Lone Ranger (sub $5,000 player that can score over 10 fantasy points)

Chase Claypool was non-existent last week against the Detroit Lions, bringing me to 5-4.

Donovan Peoples-Jones ($4,600)

Donovan Peoples-Jones has six games of five or more targets. Now that the Cleveland vs. Buffalo game has been moved to a dome in Detroit, I expect a ton of scoring and DPJ should be involved early and often.
