SchizPicks: Week 18 Lines and Wagers

BRoto fam! We had a perfect week last week! That is always a good feeling. Giants covered comfortably, Lions covered comfortably and the 3-legged ML parlay hit as well. Just a glorious way to lead into Week 18, the final week of the regular season.

This is always a tricky week. Some teams will rest players, some teams will sit players midway through a game, some teams will get key players more touches to earn incentives. I advise small cautious bets for this week and preserve your bankroll for the playoffs. Let’s see if we can find a few hidden gems!

Game Lines and Wagers

New York Giants @ Philadelphia Eagles (-14) o/u 43.5

You already know where I am going with this. While Philly seems to have more to play for than NYG with the 1 seed up for grabs and the Giants locked into the 6 seed, NYG is reportedly planning on playing a good chunk of their starters including Daniel Jones, Saquon Barkley, and nine of eleven starters on defense. While Philly should be favored in this game, 14 is too many points, especially considering the probable start of Gardner Minshew and the recent form of the Big Blue defense. The spread warrior New York Giants deserve our love for the season they blessed us with once more.

Schiz’s Pick: NYG +14 (-105)

New England Patriots @ Buffalo Bills (-7) o/u43.5

After the very unfortunate cancelled Monday Night Football game between the Bengals and Bills, you have to think the Bills are going to play their hearts out for Damar Hamlin this Sunday. Thank goodness the recovery news has been extremely positive, and it appears that Hamlin is on his way to recovery.

With the seeding up for grabs now that last week’s game was ruled a no contest, Buffalo will leave nothing to chance in securing as high a seed as possible. Bills WR1 Stefon Diggs is a single TD away from tying the Bills single season record. The Patriots defense is relatively stout, so a 2 TD ticket should not be more than a sprinkle. Josh Allen will find a way to get him one in this game.

Schiz’s Pick: Stefon Diggs TD/Bills ML Parlay (+175)

Detroit Lions @ Green Bay Packers (-4.5) o/u 49.5

Both the Lions and the Packers need to win in order to keep their playoff hopes alive, however, I am buying into the Lions magic. Dan Campbell has this Detroit team in great form and they play and fight for him with an unrivaled passion. Jamaal Williams is 2 touchdowns shy of Barry Sanders’ single season Lions rushing record of 17, so I expect the Lions will give him his fair share of red zone looks. Williams is -130 for a single TD and no ML if you would prefer that but I love the value on this play at +310.

Schiz’s Pick: Jamaal Williams TD/Lions ML Parlay (+310)

Dallas Cowboys @ Washington Commanders (+7) o/u 40.5

CeeDee Lamb needs 10 receptions to surpass Michael Irvin’s single season receptions record in Dallas. Playing at a division rival in Washington, I foresee a competitive game to start. I expect Dallas will do their best to help CeeDee get his hands on this record in the first half, even if they phase him out as the game goes on for playoff health preservation. Lamb has surpassed this line comfortably in each of the last two weeks and three times on the season.

*Prop lines are not available until gameday, but this should be close to even (-110).

Schiz’s Pick: CeeDee o7.5 receptions (-110*)

Another short and sweet slate. Excited to keep betting with you all into the playoffs. Let’s get this bread!
