Waiver Wire Targets: Week 17

Fantasy Football Championship Week has arrived! Good luck to all. Time to make some crucial adds.

With playoffs here and FAAB likely spent, there will be no more FAAB recommendations going forward. Instead, players will be listed in rank order.

If you want more waiver wire help, you should join patreon.com/brotofantasy for the waiver wire podcast that dives deeper into available players not mentioned in this article, as well as QB and DEF streamers of the week. You can also join the discord and ask me more direct waiver questions with info about your league so that I can give you the most informed advice that I can. Hope to see you there!

*Roster percentage based on Yahoo

Jayden Reed (GB WR)

Roster Percentage: 65%

Reed was released by some teams due to his injury in Week 16, but he has been tremendous when active and could return in Week 17 against Minnesota. Reed would be an easy WR3 if active.

Clyde Edwards-Helaire (KC RB)

Roster Percentage: 36%

As of right now, both Isaiah Pacheco and Jerick McKinnon are hurt. That can certainly change by the time the Chiefs kick off in Week 17, but if not, CEH would be a strong RB2 play, virtually alone in the backfield.

Zamir White (LV RB)

Roster Percentage: 30%

Zamir White has put together back to back strong performances with Josh Jacobs out. If Jacobs were to miss week 17 as well, White would be in a tremendous spot against the Colts and would slot in as a strong RB2/Flex option.

Noah Brown (HOU WR)

Roster Percentage: 47%

CJ Stroud is returning in Week 17 for a team fighting for not only a playoff spot but a division title. Brown looks like the clear WR2 and has shown massive upside in previous weeks.

Khalil Herbert (CHI RB)

Roster Percentage: 45%

The Bears backfield is a mess but Herbert ran very well in Week 16 and was the clear lead back. A difficult matchup with the Falcons comes in Week 17 but Herbert would have flex appeal if D’Onta Foreman were to be out again.

KJ Osborn (MIN WR)

Roster Percentage: 16%

With Jordan Addison and TJ Hockenson both getting hurt, KJ Osborn has a chance to be the #2 receiving option this Sunday for Minnesota against the exploitable Green Bay secondary. Osborn had a big game last week and will have WR3/Flex upside depending on team injuries.

Cedrick Wilson (MIA WR)

Roster Percentage: 0%

With Jaylen Waddle dealing with an ankle injury, there is a good chance Cedrick Wilson acts as the WR2 for the Dolphins in a hugely pivotal game against the Ravens this week. Wilson would not be a play for the faint of heart, but he will be a high risk/high reward flex play.
