Waiver Wire Targets: Week 16

Must win semifinals Week 16 is here. Time to make some crucial adds.

With playoffs here and FAAB likely spent, there will be no more FAAB recommendations going forward. Instead, players will be listed in rank order.

*Roster percentage based on Yahoo

Isaiah Likely (BAL TE)

Roster Percentage: 62%

Somehow Likely is still just 62% rostered in yahoo leagues. He is a TE1.

Darren Waller (NYG TE)

Roster Percentage: 63%

Waller played just 42% of snaps in his return in Week 15. While that is not promising in and of itself, he did manage to see six targets and catch four passes for 40 yards in that limited time on the field. Assuming he plays more as he returns from injury, Waller could be a solid TE option in Week 16 in a likely passing script game for the Giants against the divisional rival Eagles.

Noah Brown ( HOU WR)

Roster Percentage: 41%

Brown excelled in a WR1 role last week despite Case Keenum at QB. Brown has been about as volatile as it gets but with Houston dealing with injuries all over their offense, Brown should be a high upside WR3 in Week 16, especially with CJ Stroud returning.

Dontayvion Wicks (GB WR)

Roster Percentage: 4%

Wicks had a big Week 15, totaling 6/97 on 7 targets. With Jayden Reed dealing with a new injury and Christian Watson more than likely already out for Week 16, Wicks could find himself in a big spot in a must win game for Green Bay. Wicks could be a very interesting WR3/Flex play if he and Doubs are the only healthy WRs.

Josh Palmer (LAC WR)

Roster Percentage: 30%

Palmer was the lone bright spot in Week 15 for the Chargers, catching a long TD pass in his return from a long injury absence. Though Easton Stick is starting, not Justin Herbert, Palmer will still have upside as the de facto WR1 if Keenan Allen is unable to go once more.

Justice Hill (BAL RB)

Roster Percentage: 13%

With Keaton Mitchell out the year, Justice Hill will move right back into the RB2/pass catching role in the Baltimore backfield. Hill is a desperation play against San Fran this week but you can likely do worse if you are reaching this deep for an RB.

Trey Sermon (IND RB)

Roster Percentage: 0%

If JT and Zack Moss are both unable to go in Week 16, Trey Sermon would be the de facto RB1 for the Colts. Sermon ran for 88 yards on 17 carries in Week 15, so he did have some success. Sermon gets a tough matchup against Atlanta though and he had no pass catching role. He is a TD dependent desperation play.
