SchizPicks: Week 13 Lines and Wagers

Last week we didn’t like the slate so we built a teaser parlay. That parlay cashed with flying colors. Moreover, Austin Ekeler Anytime TD/Chargers ML came through for us as well, netting another positive week and another positive SchizPicks slate! Let’s get ready for Week 13.

Game Lines and Wagers

Jets @ Vikings (MIN -3, o/u 44.5)

The line on this game is flat out disrespectful. The Vikings have an elite offense and the Jets are starting Mike White. I understand Mike White has done nothing but produce but he is still a backup QB and the Vikings have had a full week to prepare and game plan for him specifically. There is no reason why the Vikings will not cover this line. I would even consider taking an alternate spread of -6.5 for a half unit.

Schiz’s Pick: Vikings -3 (-105)

Broncos @ Ravens (BAL -8.5, o/u 39.5)

Betting on the Broncos is disgusting. Then again, so is betting on the Ravens. If there is one constant in this matchup, it is that the Broncos have an elite defense. They have managed to keep games close all year despite their offensive counterparts being completely anemic. The Ravens have played up and down to competition all year, and the offense is struggling in just about every area. Especially with such a low over/under, 8.5 is too many points to ask from this Ravens squad.

Schiz’s Pick: Broncos +8.5 (-110)

Browns @ Texans (CLE -7, o/u 46.5)

The Texans are likely the worst team in football. They do have a sneaky decent defense, however, and can occasionally make some noise. The real reason for betting this game is the return of Deshaun Watson. I am very aware of the possibility that the player we know shows up and shows out right away. That being said, Watson has not touched a football field in nearly 2 whole years and will be in just about the most hostile environment possible. Texans fans have had this circled on their calendars for a long time and, with nothing else to play for, this is their Super Bowl. Also, we all get to root against a bad guy! Win win.

Schiz’s Pick: Texans +7 (-105)

Commanders @ Giants (WAS -1.5, o/u 40)

Old reliable! The Giants are on a skid right now but there are plenty of reasons to believe they can continue to their early season betting form. First and foremost, they nearly defeated Dallas on a short week despite being decimated by injury. A 4th and 1 drop by Saquon Barkley (pain) is likely the difference in that game. Second, Daniel Jones is 4-1 against Washington as a starter in his career, and this game will be played at home. Third, because of last week’s short week, Big Blue has had nearly 10 days to prepare for this matchup and rest some of their banged up players. It’ll be a bloodbath but the G-Men are coming back this weekend.

Schiz’s Pick: NYG ML (+108)

TD Scorers and Props

Small list of props this week. Just going to make one parlay for a sprinkle. Take these guys as straights or make smaller combinations if you’d like!

Austin Ekeler TD (-170)

Josh Jacobs TD (-155)

Jaylen Waddle TD (+175) (excellent value here)

Saquon Barkley TD (-135)

Nick Chubb TD (-160)

Parlay: $25 wins $500
